This it The Screen. A creation by Dr. Poopenstien who rapidly evolved, flew into the galaxy and will one day return as a demigod to wreak havoc on mankind. He will bring with him intergalactic understanding and technology from the stars above, but will still be rocking the same loafers, green sweater, khakis and 1950s tube television for a head.
This plot sounds vaguely familiar.
